What are Voluntary Contributions?

Voluntary Contributions are just that – additional funds that you decide to contribute towards your pensions savings. Unlike your locked retirement funds, your voluntary contributions may be withdrawn at any time, you can contribute as much or as little as you like, and you can stop your contributions whenever you want. If you're considering the $6K Temporary Withdrawal, you have the option to take out what you need now and leave the reminder as Voluntary Contributions and access it whenever you need it.
