The Argus Group announces temporary office closure banner

(Hamilton, Bermuda, March 18, 2020) – The Argus Group today announced it would be closing its offices to walk-in traffic from 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 and serving its customers exclusively through phone, email and online services.


Alison Hill, CEO of The Argus Group, said: “During this unprecedented time, the health and safety of our staff, our customers and the community is of the utmost importance to Argus. In light of the COVID-19 situation, we have made the decision to close our offices to walk-in traffic from 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 18th until further notice. We believe that taking this measure is the best way to limit the spread of this illness and will allow our business to remain resilient so that we can continue to serve our clients during this challenging period.”


“Our team will continue to support customer needs through online and telephone channels. We do, however, apologise for any inconvenience our temporary office closure might cause. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to offer alternative servicing options as we navigate new realities. Most importantly, our priority remains the health and wellbeing of Bermuda.”


The Argus Customer Service Centre can be reached on 298-0888 between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm or by email at insurance@argus.bm. As cash payments will not be processed from Thursday, March 19th, customers are requested to make payments via online banking or by calling the Customer Service Centre to process payments by card or to discuss billing alternatives. Pensions and health members, corporate clients and personal motor policy holders are encouraged to register for an online account at argus.bm/vantage, to gain access to policy information and a number of self-service tools.
Effective March 16th, 2020, for a 60-day period, Argus Health will cover phone and online video telemedicine calls for eligible members in alignment with guidance from the Bermuda Health Council. Argus Health clients are reminded that they may obtain refills of prescribed medications from pharmacies up to a 90-day supply.
