Hamilton, Bermuda (December 16, 2021) – The Argus Group today announced the appointment of Aderonke Bademosi Wilson as the Chief Communications Officer for the global organization. She will be responsible for the development and oversight of a corporate communications strategy aligned with business imperatives which include media relations, branding, image and reputation management and internal communications.  

Argus CEO, Alison Hill stated, “I am pleased to welcome Aderonke to the Argus Executive Leadership Team. The role of Chief Communications Officer is a newly created position and as a senior communications professional she brings a wealth of knowledge from the local, international, public and private sectors. Argus is placing greater focus on providing clear and frequent communications to all stakeholders, including current and future shareholders, clients, employees and business partners.  

“As an exciting first step in the process, we have brought Aderonke on board. With her broad experience, she will help us to better communicate our value to shareholders as we continue to develop and implement strategies that will support the growth and diversification of Argus’ earnings. Doing so whilst always putting our customers at the heart of all our decisions.”

Ms. Bademosi Wilson joins Argus after six and a half years as the Director of the Department of Communications for the Government of Bermuda. Amongst her notable achievements with the Government was leading the crisis communications during the first 18 months of the COVID-19 pandemic. She has more than 30 years of experience in corporate communications. 

Aderonke is a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute and has a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Human Resource Development. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. 

Ms. Bademosi Wilson is a student and practitioner of Appreciative Inquiry and has facilitated more than a hundred workshops in Bermuda, the US and Sierra Leone.
